In-Person Group Exercise & Fitness Classes in Stroud
Here at Gfit Life we offer a range of in-person exercise and fitness classes to suit everyone, from the raw beginner to the experienced athlete.
Our group classes are only open to women, and take place in a number of different locations across Stroud and the surrounding area.
Strength & Conditioning
Get stronger and sculpt!
These sessions are designed to help you get fitter and leaner with a series of exercises in a fully equipped gym.
Numbers are limited to enable our trainers to monitor, advise, and most importantly coach.
Fitness Pilates
This relaxing 60-minute class enhances core stability and improves strength, balance, and body weight management.
In addition, it increases flexibility and mobility, as well as significantly improving posture and alignment.
The aim of Fitness Pilates is to redress the balance in muscle tone by using stretching exercises to lengthen tight muscles, combined with strengthening exercises to tone-up lax muscles.
Kettlebell Bootcamp
High intensity kettlebell and bodyweight training to raise fitness levels, build strength and tone muscles.
This varied and fun class will challenge your whole body and leave you feeling fabulous!
Total Toning
This amazing class combines body weight, muscle conditioning and plyometric training (jumping, hopping, skipping, burpees, lunges – anything with a bounce!) to burn calories and build power.
Incorporating a high energy, martial arts feel into the mix, you will be kicking, punching, lunging and squatting to fabulous motivational music!
Expect to use/lose 300-600 calories in just one hour!
Contemporary Pilates
This is a form of Pilates that has been developed after the original classical form, combining modern knowledge of the body and biomechanics with the traditional Pilates repertoire. Consequently, you will still recognise many of the exercises, but with new exercises and modifications added to make the class challenging but more functional.
It incorporates a wide range of Pilates apparatus and equipment.
Kettlebell Strength & Conditioning
High intensity workout using kettlebells and bodyweight exercises to tone, sculpt and improve strength and fitness.
Fitness Run Club
This beginner's course will get you from a standing start to being able to run 5km (just over 3 miles) without stopping.
The course lasts 6 weeks and takes place when the evenings are lighter.

Boxfit
Boxfit is a non-contact boxing fitness class. The class includes shadow boxing, pad work in pairs, skipping and body weight strength exercises.
As well as a great calorie burner, this class will help tone your arms and tummy, accelerate your fitness and strengthen your core.
It will also improve total body strength, and is a great stress buster!
Fun, Fit & Fierce Bootcamp
High intensity interval and bodyweight training, designed to improve fitness, maximise fat burning and tone up your muscles.
This fun and varied class is suitable for all fitness levels... just be prepared to work hard!
